Guys, please support this petition. Unfortunately, the text of the petition is in Russian. This content:
November 16, 2017 for the first time were published pictures of a dolphin, in poor condition in the Gelendzhik bay. The dolphin spent a lot of time, almost without movement, with very rare and short dives, which is not typical of wild dolphins. Later it became noticeable that the dolphin had something attached to the fin. It turned out that this is a satellite transmitter (radio tag) installed on a dolphin by representatives of the Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the. AN Severtsov of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Dolphin caught in the summer of 2017, screwed to the dorsal fin on the bolt transmitter, and released into the sea in October. However, something in this "research work on the study of seasonal migration" went wrong. The dolphin did not return to the flock of his wild relatives, did not join the seasonal migration, but instead took refuge in the Gelendzhik Bay. For three weeks we have been watching the Will (as we called it) together with the residents and tourists (adults and children) and every day we sound alarm about the worsening state of the dolphin, but there is no reaction from the project executors.

Black Sea bottlenose dolphins are listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation and are under threat of extinction. Despite this, representatives of the Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the. AN Severtsov RAS, engaged in this project, do not hurry to help the dying dolphin.

On this video posted on Youtube on November 12, 2016 - a dead bottlenose dolphin with bolts from a radio transmitter on the dorsal fin.

Is it really a coincidence that last year, at the same time of the year, a dead dolphin was found with the same injuries - marks from the radio tag? Let's not allow the death of a dolphin in Gelendzhik Bay. Judging by the state of the animal, if you do not take urgent measures, it may die, and the scientists will then find how to justify themselves.

We demand to remove a transmitter from a bottlenose dolphin listed in the Red Data Book of the Russian Federation, without causing additional injuries to the dolphin and without removing it from the sea, since inactivity on the part of authorities and scientists can lead to the death of a rare animal species.

We demand that studies with similar methods be prohibited, as a result of which animals suffer and die. What kind of study of migration can we talk about when a dolphin has been alone for more than 3 weeks in the Gelendzhik Bay, where eyewitnesses observe how he slowly and painfully dies ?! He does not migrate, he can not normally swim and hunt! This is not science. This is mockery and cruelty, which is not the place in modern society. The dorsal fin of the dolphin is not an ornament, it performs several vital functions - stabilization and ensuring maneuverability of movement, thermoregulation, there are many large vessels on the fin. The installation of the transmitter on the through bolts is extremely painful for the dolphin, and the use of anesthesia in this case is impossible due to the peculiarities of cetacean breathing. The dolphin was seriously injured, endangering his life. Specialists veterinarians who have seen photos and videos suspect that the dolphin developed pneumonia due to stress, pain, weakened immunity and infection in the wounds.
