Gemma, I wrote that Pete had golden hands. I hope if something happens to your decor, Pete will tell you about his restoration experience.

Taka great minds think a like! Ha ha and thank you. Pete and I ended up arguing trying to figure out a design for the shelves but it’s all come together great. The beds on the floor were just put there after we had been and got them. Silly of me to think the boy wouldn’t investigate!

Becky - thank you. The problem with the polycarbonate was that to get sheets that were strong enough and wouldn’t bow he would have had to use the 12mm thick bulletproof security poly and that’s why it was sooooo expensive. And because the doors are a lot bigger than a normal security door they are not a standard size and would have to be made to order. It’s very different to the off the self poly / plexiglass. Originally it was 1 10th the price of glass....until he saw the size of the enclosure! Ha ha. He also said his boss was wrong and it does scratch so the 10mm toughened glass was a no brainier in the long run. He’s making purpose built runners (CNC machine) for free too :) such a lovely guy...he’s a huge animal lover and wanted to help right from the start. We didn’t even ask he just volunteered. We dog sat his little 1 eyed pug when he went to Spain; his sister got married there and he give her away as his dad passed away a few years ago. The dog was very intrigued by Loki....he even found a way onto the dinning table to get a closer look at him! Loki wasn’t impressed and climbed down and started him out....the dog looked at us and stared whimpering. From that moment Loki knew he was the boss and wouldn’t give the dog a break. Lol the dog ended up putting his head down every time he had to pass Loki’s enclosure. Funny how they can communicate so well!

Irina thank you :) I showed pete that nice message with the lovely picture. He was quite smug! He is expecting Loki to damage it but he has been having great fun with the enclosure! We have both already thought of replacement ideas if needed

Genna, it looks like a palace. This is how they deserve to be, spoiled, and this is how we love to treat them
