Rosie and Romeo, Semi-annual Vet Checks

Rosie had her 6-month checkup at the vet today. She doesn't get to ride in the car often, but she enjoyed it.

Romeo had his annual comprehensive exam, teeth cleaning, etc. I had to drop him off this morning, it's always hard for me to leave him. He had a small lump on his nose that I had noticed a few months ago. Today the vet removed it and sent it off to the lab. My poor little boy has stitches on his nose. I'm sure the test will come back negative, the vet didn't think it looked like bad.

Poor guy it is never easy to have the full work up. I am sure that mom was extra nice to him to make up for it.

Rosie was enjoying the surfing. If it is a rare thing for her that makes it even better.

    Let us know the results.

Rosie is a doll in the photo. I would very much like to cuddle with her.
And I am sending kisses for sweet Romeo. I hope it's nothing and that his poor nose heals up soon. Mom, he needs treats...

Romeo get the stitches out tomorrow. It should be all healed up. The bad news is the lump on his nose was a mast cell tumor. The good news is the edges were clean, it was removed fully, and the vet didn't see any signs of metastasis.
