Thank you all for the replies. I think I'll go with the paint from my original post. In the enclosure I will be housing 1.1 Ball pythons (Banana and Bumblebee), 1.0 Albino Boa and 1.0 Ivory Blood Python.

In the next enclosure I build I will be housing 0.1 Hypo Het Albino Boa and 1.0 T- Albino Blood Python. That'll leave me two more homes for the next snakes on my list.

I am thinking I may have made a mistake when doing some painting for Genghis's new enclosure... I purchased some satin black paint and didnt realize it was an oil based paint...here is the link to it https://www.rustoleum.com/product-ca...st/door-paint/

I pray I didnt make a mistake cause I dont know what I will do if I did...it would take sometime to get all the trim pieces cleaned
    Cheers all Javin and Genghis

Javin, it seems that after complete drying the oil paint is good in the terrarium.
I'm interested in - why is black?

The edging is black not the whole enclosure....the rest is a teal color

You need to look at the cure time not just the dry time. There will be out gassing until it is completely cured which would be bad for him. Once it has been fully cured they say it is safe.
