    I don't think English has gendered words. I'm not sure. Godzilla is well behaved. However, when I go in her cage, sometimes she hisses and lightly tail whips. When she is out she rarely stays still.

    Irina, it is the same with Greek. The chair is a she, the car is an it, the sun is a he. The iguana, a she.
    But when we speak in random, the male voice is used. That's why I call the iguana here "he".
