    Topsoil for Lizards

    Well im having a hard time Went outside to get some dirt but its in the 30s outside so the ground is hard as steel im getting nothing so my homedepot Has EarthGro Topsoil from what i can tell its safe has anyone used this befor ? I was reading on a forum about ppl useing this in fish tanks they would wash it 1st but still if you can use this in fish tanks gotta be safe for reptiles i would have to look at it more when i go into homedepot today or tom.

    As long as it has not been treated then it will be save. You will have to speak to the sales people to get the correct info from them.

    Yeah im gonna ask him but yeah ppl use this in fish tanks so seems safe

    What lizard is this for? I would use an organic soil, like from miracle grow, just making sure it has no pesticides. Good luck asking about it and what its for, lol, I always get weird looks from salepeople.

    I hear you about using it with fish, but fish do not eat soil. I am sure your monitor will get it in his mouth, eyes and every where while digging out a tunnel for himself. Organic is the only way to go.

    Miracle-Gro all has natural fertilizer O_o it is all organic

    Just make sure there is no dung inside (natural fertilizer is dung).

    Can you imagine what your house will smell like and your poor monitor. I smell like that every weekend after planting.

    Lol yeah im gonna head out to homedepot in a few here il check post pic's tonight of his cage when i get it all set up And some of him
